Here's the procedure of rooting the android device Tecno Canon C9

It's pretty much easy 

1. First you need to enable unknown resources from your smart phone's settings
2. Download this application from HERE
3. Install it and open it
4. It will tell you that the phone is not rooted, press the button that says "get it" to root the phone
5. Wait for it to complete and reboot
6. To verify; install root checker from playstore, it will will tell you that the phone is rooted
