Xposed framework and modules for gingerbread ! Mod your gingerbread to the max

-Xposed framework gives you the ability to modify your rom or add features, extra options
Without changing any file. or editing any application code, just by using modules
-You can add features from custom roms etc. without flashing a rom

-The framework was meant for android 4.0+ devices only but it was backported also to gingerbread devices
-The framework can be downloaded from HERE for gingerbread

XPrivacy:
XPrivacy can prevent applications from leaking privacy sensitive data. XPrivacy can restrict the categories of data an application can access. This is done by feeding an application with no or fake data. There are several data categories which can be restricted, for example contacts or location. For example, if you restrict access to contacts for an application, this will result in sending an empty contact list to the application. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will result in a set location being sent to the application.

XposedAppSettings:
This is an Xposed module that allows changing generic settings on a per-app basis.
"Generic settings" means settings that are global to all applications, such as: perceived DPI, rotation behavior, fullscreen, permissions, show on lock screen, resident, keep screen on, and more!
These are settings that can in principle be applied to all packages, even if for some it might not produce any effects.

Easy guide for those who don't want to download a whole new firmware and flash it with odin just to root Samsung Galaxy S3 mini

First download and install this Chinese universal rooting program from Here
Then
1- Turn on USB debugging in your Galaxy S3 mini's settings
2- Connect your phone

Wait

NOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DONE

Check if superuser app is now installed on your phone.

If you don't like the Chinese Super User app,

go to playstore and instal SuperSU or SuperUser

Then update it's binary, the uninstal the Chinese Super user app using root uninstaller or

Here's a How-to run BBM on a computer

First you will need to install genymotion
      Genymotion is an Android emulator, it's the best Android emulator that can run from within a computer, it's based on virtual box
      Through Genymotion you can run almost every Android application, But your computer must have a decent Processor and RAM.

+Genymotion is downloadable from HERE it contains the required Virtualbox files
+If you need to independently install Virtualbox you can download it from HERE

After installation you should find genymotion on Desktop/ Start screen or whatever (I'll be using windows 8.1 here)

+Open "Genymotion"

Assuming you already signed up at Genymotion website

+Click Add, then choose which version of android you'd like to run on your computer

+I recommend the one that's called:

GalaxyS4/HTCOne/XperiaZ-4.2.2-with GoogleApps.. 

Then click add, wait for it to download, then next, next, create..

After you finish click play from within Genymotion main window

And now you're running Android, run the first time setup of android, choose language etc.
Go to Play store and search for bbm, install, enjoy

+If Blackberry Messenger app shuts down by itself you may need to reinstall the APK using "file manager" download it from Play store, then go to file manager settings and allow root access, then go to /data/app and tap com.bbm.apk and override/replace the installation
+Otherwise your computer may not be able to handle these operations

Blackberry messenger (BBM) official release APK

Today 21-Oct-13 Blackberry announced that bbm is available for download through playstore and itunes by now, it will be available for all countries in few hours (as they said)

-Open freedom and select plus donation.
Updated donation key to 1.05 ;) Never open the donation key app

-OR for those who can't get freedom to work you can use lucky patcher
-Download Lucky patcher from HERE
-Select Plus donation
-Open menu of patches, select license verf, select patterns, select first five patterns, click apply, then launch.
-Do the same thing to whatsapp plus itself, except that you select first four patterns and then select the sixth.


You can normally update to the next versions of whatsapp+ without problems
